Gives you knowledge and understanding of how social media can be used in a business environment. This is a non-accredited course, which means it isn’t a qualification; but we will provide an in-house certificate of completion if you are studying with us in the classroom.

New business owners, new-in-post social media managers, social media apprentices, admin staff in charge of social media, small/micro-business owners, or the person in charge of marketing will all benefit from this short course You don't need to have any previous skills or experience to do this course: it's ideal for total beginners to social media for business.

If you’re studying in the classroom with us rather than by distance learning, there will be lots of time to discuss your ideas and get answers to your questions. 

How much time will it take? 

The classroom sessions run for two full days. If you are distance learning, you can move through your workbook as quickly or slowly as you’d like to!

Classroom learning starts at £295 per person 
Distance learning is £120 

Does my business need to be on social media? 

Yes! There were 45 million social media users in the UK (66% of the population) at the beginning of 2021. Since the Corona Virus pandemic in 2020, social media usage increased by 13%. So the chances are that your customers will be on social media... which means your business needs to be too! 

Who is my tutor? 

It’s Sarah Harris. Sarah worked at as a senior manager in a charity for nine years, qualified with the Diploma To Teach In The Lifelong Learning Sector (DTLLS) in 2011 and has been writing and delivering training for a variety of delegates for over ten years. She has worked in a mainstream school, has lots of experience in Alternative Education and now runs SKL Training with her business partner Amanda Harriott, which Sarah and Amanda set up from a simple business idea in 2017. 
 
Between them, Sarah and Amanda have managed multiple social media business accounts since 2013 including creation and management of pages, creating content, using paid ads, generating organic reach for various businesses, clubs and charities.
