Level 4 Award in the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices
Accredited through NCFE
Online learning, Zoom and classroom
This nationally recognised qualification gives you the knowledge and practical skills to work as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).
There are two units: one knowledge-based and one practical. To complete the full qualification, you will need access to assessors whose work you can quality assure.
If you are not yet in a position to complete the practical unit, you can start with the knowledge unit and return later to complete the full award.
This course is designed to be practical, flexible and directly linked to your role, allowing you to build real evidence while you learn!

You can complete this qualification on its own or progress straight away to Lead IQA as part of a combined pathway!

You don’t need to be in a formal IQA job title. However, you must have access to real IQA responsibilities, which you will need to arrange.
This can be within your organisation or externally.
To complete the full qualification, you will need to:
Work with assessors
Carry out IQA activities such as sampling and feedback
Provide evidence such as IQA plans and standardisation records
Be observed carrying out IQA activity.
If you are completing the knowledge unit only, you do not need access to assessors or observation.
